After arriving at Málaga airport, you often go straight home where you arrive to a clean house with the fridge filled, just freshen up and ready to enjoy the holiday.
An always fun outing is definitely a visit to Málaga centro. Málaga with its fine shopping streets of which the Alameda and Calle Larios are the biggest. But actually almost all streets in the centre are beautiful, especially look up from time to time, the facades are beautiful. We highly recommend starting the day with churros from Casa Aranda in Calle Herrería del Rey 2, the oldest churros restaurant in Málaga where you can also eat delicious sandwiches. From there, it is great to just stroll, shop and enjoy all the beauty. The Roman Theatre, the Alcazaba, Gibralfaro Castle in the Cathedral, Nuestra Señora de la Encarnación. The widely known restaurant El Pimpi definitely deserves a visit. But there are many other nice restaurants.
Also a fun idea, visit OXO, the video games museum in the heart of Málaga on Plaza del Siglo 2 and don’t forget to have a delicious drink and/or snack on the fantastic rooftop terrace. And, of course, a stroll to and through Málaga’s port, Muelle Uno. A relatively new stylish neighbourhood located between Muelle Uno and the Alameda is El Soho with its beautiful grafiti´s of famous artists, art galleries, and theatres. There are also several restaurants serving delicious food.
